kedleston Hall


I found Kedleston hall quite minimal in decoration compared to lots of country estates, but it still had some beautiful carvings throughout which I found very interesting.



I love how this Relief sculpture is interacting with the painting, it really looks like the lady is the only thing holding it up.









 What interested me the most during my visit was the unrepairable areas of Kedleston hall, because these houses are made to look so pristine yet there are still areas that cannot be looked after as they are far too delicate.
